Last Minute Halloween Costumes

Hey guys!

Sooo, this post is going to help you ladies out there who are like me: [pretty much] always last minute...Heh, it's not our faults, right?  So yeah, I still don't have a costume for Halloween 2012 but I do know what i want to be. As Halloween is in exactly a week, I think it's about time I go shopping for my stuff! And I'm actually going tomorrow!

**Please note that you don't have to buy these exact pieces of clothing. These are just examples of items you could use. I chose pieces that most people already own (with some exceptions) so it would be easier!

Alright, I will stop chit chatting and start riiiight now :)

So this is actually what I want to be for this year's Halloween! :) I love cats, especially black ones, and I feel like this outfit is really cute!

The socks are actually not for your feet, but you can make a tail out of them! Just cut and sow a long sock to the desired thickness, and fill it in with toilet paper. Then, you can either tuck the sown end into your pants, or pin it to the back of your pants if you want it to stay longer!

For makeup, I'm going to attempt a black smokey eye and wing out my eyeliner in thick lines. I'll also add some liquid eyeliner to the tip of my nose and swipe 3 small lines across my cheeks for whiskers!

For hair, I'm thinking two pigtails. But make them messy!

Make sure you're ready to ruin the dress you're using because you'll have to splatter some fake blood all over it for this look. If you're feeling extra spooky, buy some sort of fake bite and add some dripping fake blood to the side of your neck.

For makeup, buy and extra white shade of foundation. If you're already very pale and you feel like the lightest shade of foundation would only match your skin, you can use face paint from the drugstore in the Halloween section. Apply dark eyeshadow to your crease and under the eye for a tired/dead look.

For the sweater, you want to make sure you can ruin this. You can buy one at a thrift store or jusst a really cheap one. Then, you want to draw a jack-o-lantern face as big as possible on the front part of the shirt. It's that easy!

The wig is totally optional, but I this in store the other day and thought it was the cutest thing eveeer!!! Instead, you could wear just a green headband or pull your hair into a bun or ponytail and wrap green ribbon around it.

Any of the nail polishes from this new orly spellbound set would work really well with this, or any, costume! They're soo cute!! I can't decide which is my favorite!!

You can wear any brown or other neutral colored boots you may already have. If you don't have any, you can just put on some black or brown flats.

Alrighty, that's all I came up with. If you would like to see more, you can say so in the comments and let me know what costume you would like to see next :)

I know these are not original costumes, but they're last minute ones, so they can't be too complicated.

Also, am I the only one going trick-or-treating this year still? Haha, I'm now 16 years old, but you know what they say: YOLO!! Hahaha!  Let me know what your plans for Halloween are and what you're dressing up as :)

Hope this helped!!
